Molly (my nickname) means "star of the sea" and was the name referred to makers of armour undersuit. McSweeney is derived from the Gaelic word meaning “pleasant.”

Behind My Name

I am named after my paternal grandmother, Mary, but my parents always wanted to call me Molly. I've only ever met one other Mary/Molly, while studying abroad in Rome, Italy.
