Meaning of Name

I don't think my name has any special meaning; my mom just likes the sound of this name.

Behind My Name

My name in Chinese is 金 (Jin) 玲 (Ling), but I'm now more used to be called Ling these days. Jin means gold in Chinese, which is not a very common family name. Many people who have this last name are ethnic minorities, even though I am Han Chinese. It's more a common family in Korea, which is spelled as Kim.
