Kim, short for Kimberly, is English. My middle name for professional purposes, Brillante, is my Italian birth surname. Knight is also English and is the last name I share with my partner.

Meaning of Name

Kim means "woodland clearing of the royal forest." Brillante means "brilliant or sparkling" and Knight means "one who served as a soldier."

Behind My Name

I removed my birth surname (Brillante) from my legal name when I got married, but I am in the process of adding it back as a legal middle name.
